Test for Success

While looking for some inspiration, I found this test for success. I was blown away by the accuracy of the results. They have identified five distinct categories, or character traits, that determine the likelihood of one's achievement.

1. Discipline is the ability to set goals, manage your time, measure results, and maintain overall balance in life.

2. Passion is more than just hard work, it's holding on to your dream. You must be able to go full steam ahead regardless of whether life throws you a hard knock.

3. Risk is not about rolling the dice, it is to measure your willingness to step out of your "comfort zone." Success requires change and you must defy complacency.

4. Optimism is about self image, self-esteem, confidence. Like the saying goes "You are what you think about, whether positive or negative.

5. Interpersonal Skills are necessary for ultimate success. Without these skills, you can't negotiate, do public speaking or interact with people to build a trust factor.

In order to be successful in life you have to maintain a balance of all five of these traits.

Only 2 percent of all American's are living a life of fullfillment because they are the people of action. The other 98 percent are the one's who simply make excuses. Which one are you?

Debbie,

Great post.

One good thing is everyone can decide to seek those traits. It's just a matter of making that decision.

Thanks for the excellent leadership. You're a great example of someone passing the test for success.
